Ok, got a question for all of you out there. Has anyone actually been to a real bog that has CPs? (I plan to go this upcomming spring some time myself) What did you see? What was it like?
Ok, in addition, I want stories and questions and comments and whatever about ways you have or ways to work tward the conservation of Carnivorous Plants.
I'll give you one of mine first... A few months back I walked into Krohn conservatory in Cincinnati Ohio (where I live right now btw) and I found their carnivorous plant display. I was thrilled. I haven't really run into too many people in the flesh who would even know a CP if they saw one let alone find people who actually display them in a public park system greenhouse. Well, I was so inspired that I filled out a paper and next thing you know, I vollenteer (sp) there about once a week for a few hours.
I get to see plants I don't have in my collection and I have learned tons working with the plants and the people. It keeps my interest fresh and ideas flowing. I love it.
